Cowboy Camp 2026: August 10-14

New this year: Welcome to Cowboy Camp at the Ranch!
August 10th-14th, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This camp is designed for youth, ages 12-16, who have taken part in riding lessons in the past, and who are ready to level up!

Join us for a week of immersed in the rodeo lifestyle, and take home lots of new cowboy (or cowgirl!) skills and knowledge.

From learning cowboy basics to hands-on horse care, games, and themed challenges—this camp is all about building skill, confidence, and spirit in a safe, supportive environment.

What to Bring:

• Re-fillable Water Bottle
• Comfortable Clothing (including a change of clothes)
• Boots for riding / footwear for other activities
• Sunscreen
• Hat

Horse-Centred Learning:
We, Rusty Jade Ranch, were born out of respect and passion for horses. We believe in Natural Horsemanship and being in tune with the capabilities and needs of both the horse and rider. We do this by setting clear goals and matching horse, rider, and coach. Horse lovers can then build positive and enjoyable relationships and experiences with their equine partners.

Safety:
At Rusty Jade Ranch, the safety of the horse and rider is of paramount importance. All riders under the age of 18 are required to wear a properly fitted, SEI/ASTM approved riding helmet. All riders are required to wear proper footwear with a 1 1/2 inch heel.
